Our Story
Jay Malhar Enterprises started in 2009 as a single cart run by the Deshmukh family, with a handshake relationship with a dozen farmers. Fifteen years on, those relationships are still the whole business — we've just added a website and a delivery van.
How We Got Here
If we wouldn't feed it to our own family, we don't sell it. Everything else grew around that.
2009
The Deshmukh family sets up a single stall in Mumbai's Market Yard, buying directly from a small circle of growers instead of going through a wholesaler.
2013
Regular customers start asking for deliveries. The first routes are covered by bicycle, a few streets at a time.
2017
Partnerships expand past 25 farms across Nashik, Devgad, Nagpur and the Konkan coast, each one visited in person before we agree to carry their produce.
2020
A website and WhatsApp ordering line mean regulars can send their list in the morning without a phone call.
Today
Still family-run, still sorted by hand, still delivered the same day it's picked — just at a scale we couldn't have imagined from that first cart.
What We Won't Compromise On
We buy straight from growers we've met in person — no distributor sitting between the field and your basket.
Prices track the real wholesale market every morning. No inflated "organic" markup for the same produce.
Every crate is sorted by hand before it leaves our godown. Bruised or unripe stock never reaches you.
Same delivery staff, same farmers, same neighbourhoods. We'd rather grow slowly with people we trust.
Where It Comes From

Nashik
India's onion capital, and a vineyard belt known for sweet, seedless grapes.

Devgad
Sun-ripened, saffron-fleshed Hapus from Konkan's most famous mango orchards.

Nagpur
Juicy, tangy citrus from Vidarbha, the region behind Nagpur's "orange city" name.

Gholvad Coast
Naturally sweet, malty sapota grown along the Konkan coastline.
From Our Customers
"I've tried three other delivery apps. None of them get the onions right. This is the only one that has."
Meena T. · Dadar
"They actually remember what I ordered last time and check if I want the same. Feels like the old neighbourhood stall, just faster."
Ravi K. · Thane
"Prices change with the season the way they should, instead of a flat markup all year. I trust that more than a discount code."
Priya S. · Andheri
